Samurai’sHeavyweightT-shirts are crafted using a thick 14 gauge yarn, and sewn with the same level of expertise as the brand’s denim. Woven on vintage circular knit machines using raw cotton slub yarns,the shirts sport a supple softness and substantial weight.
This shirt features a Fuji Rabbit, a rare Japanese motor scooter inspired by mopeds used by American servicemen during World War II. Fuji Heavy Industries, now Subaru Corporation, produced the Fuji Rabbit from 19476 through 1968 serving as a symbol of nostalgia in Japanese pop culture. Cut in Samurai’s new OVS fit, which increases the chest size and length for the overseas market.
