Samurai’sHeavyweightT-shirts are crafted using a thick 14 gauge yarn, and sewn with the same level of expertise as the brand’s denim. Woven on vintage machines, the shirts feature carefully hand-printed silk screen images. This installment is cut in Samurai’s new OVS fit, which increases the chest size and length for the overseas market.
This print motif is painted in the Toba-e style of Japanese painting, popular in Osaka during the mid-Edo period. This style depicts scenes from daily life in a comical manner. On the front, the word “drunk” is brushed in Japanese calligraphy.
