Inspired by “hikeshi banten” or traditional Japanese firefighter uniforms, Japan Blue’s 11oz sashiko fabric is woven with thick sashiko threads on a sturdy cotton base. The fabric is rope dyed indigo for a rich hue that will continue to fade with time. Made in the brand’s Easy Pant silhouette, these trousers come cut in a relaxed tapered cut with a roomy top block, tapered leg, and a slightly cropped hem. Featuring slant pockets at the waist, two welt pockets at the rear, and an adjustable drawstring cord waistband.
