Cut in a classic five-pocket silhouette, these sashiko pants feature Japan Blues 11oz rope dyed sashiko fabric. Inspired by “hikeshi banten” or traditional Japanese firefighter uniforms, Japan Blue’s 11oz sashiko fabric is woven with thick sashiko threads on a sturdy cotton base. The fabric is rope dyed indigo for a rich hue that will continue to fade with time. Japan Blue’s Wide Tapered fit features a high rise, roomy thigh, and slight taper throughout the leg.
